Preventative dentistry is the biggest part of keeping healthy teeth for a lifetime. Dailey dental wants to help educate you on proper at home dental hygiene, from regular brushing ( Brush Dailey!) to flossing to keep healthy gums. We can also help with regular professional cleanings and checkups, which not only help keep teeth clean but help catch issues early, when they are easier to treat, and have better results.
ORAL SURGERY
Dailey Dental also offers a variety of Oral surgery services, ranging from single tooth extractions to dental implants. Dental implants are one of the most exciting advancements in dentistry, and one of the most promising ways to provide long term solutions to a missing tooth or teeth. These are done by inserting an implant into the area were the tooth roots formerly were, and attaching a crown, that will look and behave as if it were a normal tooth! Some oral surgeries, such as wisdom teeth removal, may be referred to an oral surgeon, who specializes in the procedures.
PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY
One of the scariest places as a child can be the dentist’s office, but at Dailey we try to make it less intimidating, and more fun and educational for children. We aim to provide kids with comfortable dental care, and education on proper dental hygiene that will help them keep their smile healthy and bright.
PERIODONTAL DENTISTRY
Periodontal dentistry refers to dentistry of the gums, and involved preventing and treating various gum disorders, like gum disease. Gum disease can often be avoided with proper care of the gums, but if it begins undetected it can cause major damage to the gums, and lots of pain. At Dailey dental Hygienists will help keep the gums clean with regular appointments, and recognize and test for the signs of gum diseases, which can then be treated, stopping any long term gum damage.
ENDODONTIC DENTISTRY
A tooth that needs a root canal can often be one of the most painful dental issues. Endodontics will help save a tooth that is infected, dying, or cracked. Explained very briefly a root canal is the removal of a tooth’s pulp, disinfecting of the area, and then refilling the tooth. This will result in a now pain free area and a saved tooth. If a specific case can not be done in office, the patient will be referred to an endodontist, who specializes exclusively in these procedures.
